[dohtml]<text style="text/css">

It was too hot. Ashstar was resting not so peacefully on the High Rock, hoping the colder floor of the caves would keep her cool. However, from the heavily pregnant leader's constantly shuffling and unhappy grunts it seemed this was not the case. Ash needed to get out, maybe take a trip down to the river and get a drink. Quite honestly, she was this close to just ripping out her own fur.

Part of her frustration was due to the fact the kittens were taking their sweet time- she just wanted them out of her, dammit! She hated the constant bloated feeling and fatigue weighing her down. She had a job to do and if she couldn't do it at one hundred percent it made her grumpy. StarClan help anybody who crossed her. Which brought us on to the next reason for her frustration- Endy.

Their relationship had turned rocky, and she found herself getting more and more annoyed with the red tabby maine coon with each passing day. They had differing opinions, and Ashstar just couldn't handle the constant arguments over those differing opinions in this state. It hurt the black and white leader, and she often found herself staring at her mate from across the SkyClan camp with forlon pale green eyes. She just wanted them to go back to how they used to be.

Right now though? Ashstar heaved herself up, the extra weight of kittens forcing her muscles to work harder to lift her up. She staggered down the High Rock and started to make her way towards the camp entrance. Maybe a walk would help clear her mind and cool her off.

[dohtml]<text style="text/css">

Ashstar clambered up the High Rock, weak and tired but with a fierce determination to continue on with her duties. The black and white molly had settled quite nicely into life as a leader, and it no longer seemed like such a daunting task. Now, many months later and with Wolfstrike and Endlesssummers (though currently her relationship with the latter was rather strained) she had fallen into a routine.

There were ups and downs, but a recurring source of happiness for Ash was ceremonies. "SkyClan, gather beneath the High Rock for ceremonies."

[/dohtml]

[dohtml]<text style="text/css">

Things had been rough lately in the Clan, but that was obvious. Ashstar had felt the direct effects of the incident, but she was also feeling the aftermath too. How was everybody else coping? She wasn't entirely sure. The black and white female knew of one clanner who had taken the hit harder than her, and it hurt- her daughter's childish innocence and happy nature had vanished, and she wanted it back.

Deciding to go visit her precious child, Ashstar stuck her head in the den. "Strawberrypaw?" Ash called out softly, stepping inside. "Strawbs, honey? Are you in here?" The leader waited for an answer, looking around the large den quickly to see if she could catch a glimpse of the apprentice's striking red fur with her green eyes. "Sweetheart?"

She couldn't believe it. Hearing the news from Peppernose had been a shock, and extremely frightening. She didn't know how to feel about it, how to act, what to do... it was all very overwhelming. But it made sense- especially after her fatigue and her haywire emotions, though there may have been another explanation for that. Despite this though, Ashstar knew her first course of action. Tell her mate.

Things had been a little awkward between them since Ivory had died, but she would put that aside for now. All the leader needed to focus on was telling Endy the news, and quickly. It was important. It was around midday when Ashstar set off out of the medicine den and she soon realised it had been difficult to find Endy. Where did that dumb maine coon go? The black and white molly huffed more and more with frustration the more she couldn't find him.

It was only after the red tabby returned from a patrol did she finally find him. "Endy!" Ashstar called out quickly, trying to grab his attention. "Endy! Over here!" She called again, before dipping into her den. She only hoped the tabby had noticed and followed her in.

[/dohtml]

[dohtml]<text style="text/css">

Ashstar was used to her duties as leader now- she knew them like the back of her paw- but something felt... off about today. She'd woken up feeling extremely sick, and the more she walked around camp the more fatigue she felt. However, even as she struggled up the High Rock, she was determined to not let this affect her.

"Everybody gather below the High Rock for ceremonies!" She said quickly, wasting no time and cutting straight to the point.

/if you require a ceremony please post in the following thread- <url=http://warriorcatsarpg.com/index.php?showtopic=3127&st=0&#entry28392>click!

UPDATE; this thread is now the april ceremonies

[/dohtml]
