TW: Blood, gore
The river was frozen over. It was a time that the two twins dreaded. Suddenly hit with an onslaught of boredom at the sudden cancellation of their favorite pass time. They needed something else to occupy their mind.
It was mid-day when the brothers decided enough was enough and they needed to do something else besides lounge around camp. Rising to their feet the Siamese twins set off out of camp and deep into the territory. It had been a long time since they had explored their territory. Perhaps something had changed. Walking along the river they gazes longingly at the frozen water. It was the one thing the twins hated about leaf-bare.
One thing they did like about leaf-bare was the snow. It was easy to blend into and also very pretty, unfortunately there wasn't that much snow and it seemed to decrease as the twins got further into their territory. It wasn't long before they reached the edge of the border and the twins took a seat at the base of the frozen river, gazing out into the treecut place. Eastcreek could feel his brothers emotions in that moment, he knew his mind was on Burnout just by the way he looked. Eastcreek sighed, his brother had insisted it was fine that Burnout had found someone else. He had missed his chance and he knew it. "Look, Westriver, I know-"
His brothers voice was suddenly cut off by the loudest sound Westriver had ever heard in his life. Not even the loudest monster compared. It rippled through the air caused the cat to jump back in terror. A loud pulse and ringing in his ears as he desperately tried to regain his balance. His vision became blurry as he desperately tried to search for his brother in the confusion. His eyes suddenly found his brothers form motionless on the ground, a pool of blood beginning to form around him. "Eastcreek!"
Westriver cried, stumbling forward. As his vision became clearer he saw that his brothers ear looked like it had been torn to shreds, barley holding on by a sliver of skin. Westriver bent forward taking his brothers scruff into his maw. Another shot rang out and the twin ducked, suddenly full of adrenaline like he had never felt before he dragged his unconscious brother toward RiverClan camp. The only thing on his mind now was getting Eastcreek to Supernatural.
Crimson blood left streaks in the snow as Westriver neared the RiverClan entrance. The horrified twin burst through the entrance. Collapsing with Eastcreek by his side. "Supernatural!"
He cried out into the camp.
