The brothers had taken note of the dark grey clouds that now loomed over RiverClan camp. This years green-leaf had been nearly unbearable, if it weren't for the river the two twins didn't know how they would've survived.
It was definitely a nice surprise when the first rain drop fell atop Eastcreeks head. It wasn't long before the rain began to start sprinkling. The two twins closed their eyes savoring the feeling of the cool rain hitting their pelts. It wasn't until the rain went from sprinkling to pouring that the brothers decided it was probably best to take some cover. They both rose from their spots in the center of camp and proceeded toward the warriors den before laying down and waiting for the rain to pass.
It was night by the time the thunder started. It was loud and close. Nearly sending each of the twins into a panic each time they heard it. The rain beat down on top of the warriors den with the help of the strong wind.
Eastcreek and Westriver gave eachother worried glances. As senior warriors it was their duty to make sure the clan was safe in times of need (or at least thats what they liked to think.) Against their better judgement, both toms rose to their feet and set out into the storm to make sure everyone was okay and no one was injured.
The rain drops felt like tiny bee stings as they crashed down. It was so dark and windy both twins had a hard time navigating through the camp.
Visiting each den and finding scared bodies curled up inside and pressed against the walls. No one seemed to be hurt, just terrified.
It wasn't until they reached the apprentice den that they noticed something wrong. The brightly colored and feathered cat known as Featherpaw was no where in sight. She wasn't in any of the other dens. What if she had been trapped outside of camp when the storm had hit? She didn't know the territory very well and it she might've gotten lost. "Has anyone seen Featherpaw?"
Eastcreek shouted over the massive storm, trying to have his voice heard by the others.
