Silverstar knew it was a dream. She could tell by the light that still surrounded her even without the aid of the moon or stars. Her aura guiding her path through a darkened forest. She knew it was a dream because of how surreal everything felt, and the nearly ear pericing silence as she walked through the trees. Silverstars paws seemed to be guiding her on their own accord. Through the ThunderClan trees, through RiverClan territory and through two-leg place. As things began to become more and more unfamiliar Silverstar couldn't help but feel interested in what her destination might be. With a quickened pace the leader allowed her paws to lead her toward the unknown.
She wasn't exactly sure how long she had been walking but the light surrounding her had changed. It faded from a black to a orange, almost as if it were day, yet however much Silverstar searched the sun was no where in sight. This happened three times before the figures of tall two-leg buildings entered her vision. "The city?
Silverstar knew that BloodClans territory was not far from here. Perhaps thats where her dream was trying to take her. Through the abandoned streets she walked until she noticed the smell of cats beginning to surround her. Her head snapped from side to side. Expecting to see BloodClan come out of nowhere. However, they never came. Instead the form of only one cat stepped out into view. A brown cat with white spotting and pale green eyes seemed stare right through her. The cat lifted his head, glancing around a few times before proceeding to walk straight through Silverstar. The she-cat shivered and suddenly the smell of her mother began to surrounding her. "As the clan is shrouded in darkess, you may be able to find the light, in the darkest of places."
Silverstars eyes closed as she savored the gentle breeze that ruffled her fur, mingled with the familiar and comforting scent of her mother. At the sound of a blairing horn the she-cat snapped her eyes open, coming face to face with a monster that was speeding toward her. She didn't even have time to react before she felt the sudden weight slam against her and everything became black.
Silverstars eyes snapped open, the adrenaline still pumping through her veins from the fear. Wide owl like eyes scanned the walls of her den, making sure that she still wasn't in a dream. After a few moments of catching her breath she began to repeat the dream in her head. You may be able to find the light in the darkest of places.
Grovepaw had been missing for several days, there had been no trace of him anywhere, it looked almost as if he had been taken in the middle of the night, Charna had disappeared as well and that left the clan without a proper medicine cst. There was fear in every cats eyes, the grim realization that they were left without a healer set in. Spottedlegs had broken her leg but there was nothing the clan could do. All they could do was wait for it to heal naturally.
As Silverstar played the dream over and over in her mind she slowly began to realize what the dream had meant.
With the speed of a cheetah Silverstar leaped out of her den and onto the highrock. "ThunderClan! Gather around the highrock!"
She announced with a determined booming voice.
Silverstar could hardely contain her words as cats began to gather, "ThunderClan I have recieved a message from StarClan, I think I know where we can find a medicine cat,"
as Silverstar spoke her eyes scanned the many faces of their clan-mates, hoping they would find the hopefulness that she felt, "I recieved a dream of a 3 day journey toward the city, there I had visions of a brown tabby with white spots and pale green eyes, I believe that he's the cat StarClan has chosen to save ThunderClan."
Silverstar announced, she sat down for the final part of her speech. "This journey will be extremely dangerous, monsters roam the city with Thunderpaths around every corner, almost as if the city is their territory. Two-legs roam the city looking for stray cats to bring them back to the caged place, but I know you all are strong. I need volunteers, those willing to risk their lives for our future."
Silverstar finished, awaiting the reaction of her clan-mates
