<div id="sugar-post">She'd walked all night and for the better part of the day without rest, without food or water, and she was starting to feel the effects. She breathed in shallow pants and ambled along while swaying back and forth,
as if at any moment she would fall to one side.
<br/><br/>
Had her circumstances been normal she would have sleep through the night, stopped to drink and hunt. But her pleas to pause on their journey seemed to fall on the spirits deaf ears. The translucent cub walked on and on and on.Without once pausing to make certain she was still there, it hadn't spoken at all since it had first appeared. Two words that had been enough to urge Sugar from her home and her loved ones.
<br/><br/>
Loved ones. That was funny now, considering none of her family or friends had had faith enough in her to see the truth. Her droopy lids focused in bitter resentment for a moment and she used that sudden rush of awareness to find the spirit guiding her. Only to find the forest path before her empty. The spirit gone.
<br/><br/>
Her steps faltered and she stumbled to a stop, swinging her head around in panic. <b>"Where did you go?!"</b> The echo of her own voice and silence was the only answer to her call. She was eerily alone</div>

<div id="sugar-id">Sugar<div id="sugar-photo"></div></div>
<div id="sugar-post"> Only a few short days had gone by since she’d wondered into the trees and away from the riverlands that she had called home her entire life. Across the upwalkers bridge and into the unknown, a world outside that she’d only heard whispered tales of from the traveling families that often settled with hers. From Brightsmoke.
<br/><br/>
The lynx felt her lip curl upward at the thought of the other female, remembering so easily her glittering golden eyes that mocked just as surely as her laugh had. Taunting her into all manner of dark, morbid thoughts of torture and murder. Things she would like to do to get vengeance, to get the truth from those poisonous lips. But a feeling of lose was quick on the heels of that anger. She’d left behind her entire world, all she’d ever known and cared about, and those she’d left behind would not likely blink an eye or shed a tear for her. It wasn’t the goodbye she’d thought she’d have when she left home to become an adventurer. But the events that had unfolded just a month before was something no one could have predicted, and the experiences after still shook her down to her core.
<br/><br/>
Often times the world would shake and it would take her some time to realize that it wasn’t moving, she was. Vibrating with rage and grief. Yet to far beyond those feelings to cry anymore.
<br/><br/>
The lynx gave her head the smallest of shakes, narrowing her dark gaze on the smooth, grassy hills that surrounded her. Focusing on the here and now, events she was creating to change her future. And the kitten that weaved ahead of her. Paws brushing across the grass without rustling a single blade and eyes staring determinedly ahead. Its translucent body glowed a faint blue and sparkled as if he’d been sprinkled with stars. Her silent guide on her journey for the truth.
<br/><br/>
The spirit continued on without hesitation, even as the wind carried back the heavy scent of domestic cats. Strong enough to make her steps falter. She’d heard enough stories to know that this was a scent marker, a border. Most likely of the clans that ruled this forest, though she’d been wondering whether such things could exist. Smallcats managing to work together long enough to form family groups, it was unspeakable. And it was real.
<br/><br/>
Sugar halted along the border, the fur along her shoulders bristling with unease. But her guide continued on without her, silent and swift. <b>“Wait,”</b> she shouted after him, kneading the ground uneasily as she watched him shimmer. Again and again until the wind seemed to blow him away into streams of blue smoke that she watched disappear into the sky.
<br/><br/>
Leaving her alone on WindClans border.</div>

<br/><br/><hr><br/>
<b>personality in detail</b><br/>
this section will mainly outline her reactions to different situations: such as meeting new people, her thoughts and feelings on other species, etc. this should help define her as an individual as must as her personality traits do.
<br/><br/><hr><br/>
<b>backstory</b><br/>
in a non-traditional way many lynx families gather near the riverside, many miles down from where the four clans are known to live, during the spring and summer seasons each year. to help one and other protect and nurse newborns, and to train the cubs from the previous year. only a few families stay year-round, to ensure the land remains theirs, and sugars family was one of those. a large gathering of her older brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, and cousins, that would come and go. raised alongside, not just her own littermates, but the cubs of other families that stayed in the riverlands. which is how she became close friends with brother and sister, vex and rain. under the care and guidance of their parents and older relations, sugar and vex became strong and bold. sugar leaning towards brute strength and rash decisions, while vex often warned caution and analyzed each option. and it was clear to everywhere that rains talents leaned toward healing and when the three weren't training, sugar and vex were dragging their shy friend along on their rule-breaking adventures.
<br/><br/>
the first six months of their lives were bliss.
<br/><br/>
and then a new family moved into the riverlands, to stay permanently. weary of travels and the world outside.
all save their daughter, a cub their age named brightsmoke. this new family memorized the other families with the tales of their travels, of the clans and the things beyond even that. and brightsmoke wasn't above rubbing it in the other cubs faces that she was more worldly then they'd ever be, tied to the riverlands as they were.
never one to back down from a challenge sugar assured the other female that she was strong enough to take on anything in the outside world and would prove it.
<br/><br/>
there started a rivalry between the lynxes. one that vex and rain attempted to defuse as the two females clashed over the coming months. a rivalry made worse when sugar, who had long since had harbored a secret love for vex, witnessed him and brightsmoke together. enraged she confronted the other female and they fought, a vicious scuffle that rain stumbled upon and attempted to break up. but so intent on each other they paid no heed to the healer. or the gorge so close by. until rains screams broke them apart, to late to save her as she plummeted over the side.
<br/><br/>
frightened brightsmoke ran. but sugar stayed, sobbing as she leaned over the cliff. searching for signs that her friend might have survived the fall and would surface, she was a strong swimmer... and that was how the families found her. staring dully down the cliff.
<br/><br/>
a few months of grieving passed before sugar noticed that vex had hardly spoken to her. ready to reconnect with her friend she sought him out, only to be rebuffed by brightsmoke, who assured sugar that vex didn't want to speak to his sisters murderer. angry and confused she seeks him out anyway and is confronted with a male whose love for her had somehow turned to hatred. his scalding words only confirm what brightsmoke had said,
that he blamed her and that the families did too. she was known to be rash after all. hurt she lashes back at her friend and the others and flees for the night.
<br/><br/>
and it is the first night she is visited by a spirit. a young lynx cub that says nothing, merely stares off and points in a certain direction. she is confused for a while, talking and trying to touch the spirit. during this brightsmoke finds her and mocks her, revealing that while she hadn't meant to knock rain off the gorge during their fight,
it would have happened eventually since she was planning to kill her anyways. shocked sugar threatens to reveal the truth but brightsmoke is right when she says that no one will believe her. their reaction to her these past few weeks was proof enough of that.
<br/><br/>
it hurts to know they could think so little of her. brightsmoke leaves with a laugh. and sugar continues to contemplate this new information when suddenly the spirit speaks, reminding her that it was there. "the gorge doesn't kill all. mother lives." the cub moved away, stopped, and pointed again. its eyes determined. "follow me."
<br/><br/>
she gave it only a moments thought before getting up and following the near-silent spirit from the riverlands and into the unknown. something had sent it to her, and while she wasn't much of a believer in the afterlife, she believed in this. what she could clearly see. and it wanted to show her something. the timing wasn't a coincidence, it wanted to show her the truth.

Laid gentle on frosted, morning grass a mother smoothed the kits whimpering protests. Eyes narrowed against the beams of sunlight, searching for the warmth of his mothers fur. In his drug-induced haze he couldn't make out her familiar face, only her fading scent as she left him. Leaving the curled haired kitten in the cold.
<br/><br/>
He curled into himself, mewling softly still. Believing that his mother would find him and return, should he continue his cries. But as the sun rose further on SkyClans borders a sense of drowsiness lowered his eyes lids. Covering his baby blue gaze and hushing the noise. Falling into a restless, cold slumber.
